「～だけれども」「たとえ～でも」という表現は、自分の意見を詳しく伝えたり、状況を客観的に説明したりする際に欠かせません。今回は Although, Though, Even if, While の使い分けを、演習を通してマスターしましょう。

1. Although / Though（～だけれども：事実）
確定した「事実」に基づいて、「事実はAだが、結果（B）は予想と違う」という時に使います。
- Although：フォーマル。ビジネスや書き言葉。文頭・文中に置く。
- Though：カジュアル。会話。文末に置いて「～だけどね」と付け足すことも可能。

2. Even if vs Even though（仮定か事実か）
ここが最重要ポイントです！
- Even if：たとえ～だとしても（仮定）。「もし万が一そうなっても」という未確定の話。
- Even though：～なのに（事実の強調）。「実際にそうなのに驚きだ」という確定した話。

3. While（一方で：対比）
「Aは～だが、一方でBは～だ」という2つの事柄の対比を表します。ビジネスでのデータ比較や意見の相違を述べる際に便利です。

4. 致命的なミスを防ぐ（Although と But）
日本語の「～だけれども、しかし～」に引きずられて、Although と but を同時に使うのはNGです！どちらか一つにしましょう。
